Ontario's Worst Roads

Pylons

Each year, CAA and the Ontario Road Builder's Association compile a list of the Top 20 Worst Roads in Ontario - as voted by CAA Members and the general public. This program has been tremendously successful because municipal governments have taken action or committed to take action on 95 percent of the roads named since 2003.

Take action for better roads

Almost all Ontario roads are maintained by local governments. Yet, the provincial and federal governments collect almost all the motoring-related taxes needed to repair those roads.

So, how can you make a difference? Send an eCard to your government, telling them your community deserves a permanent cut to the gasoline tax to fix your streets and keep them safe to drive on.
